From Anfal Stories

A documentary series, consisting of 12 episodes, that includes several stories told by the victims of Al-Anfal, where Al-Anfal, is a campaign of genocide launched by Saddam Hussein against the Yazidi Muslim Kurds and Christ in South Kurdistan, as a result of which 182,000 people died. Many villages were burned, and thousands were displaced. Saddam called this campaign Al-Anfal, using a surah from the Holy Qur’an, to justify the killing. This is the first documentary of its kind, which was made 34 years after the genocide, The episodes were filmed at the scene of the accident. We hope that we have conveyed part of the truth in the form of a documentary.
